The Power of All Authors Blog Blitz: Testimony and Why You Should Join

The 2nd Annual All Authors Blog Blitz is approaching soon!

Have YOU registered yet?

Maybe you are still on the fence.

A special guest has stopped by to share her testimony as to what the All Authors Blog Blitz has meant to her.

Special guest, take it away!

All Authors Blog Blitz:  The Pathway to Greater

Hello everyone.  Yes I have been here as recently as last week but I want to talk about how beneficial All Authors Blog Blitz has been for me.

I remember when the All Authors Support Group was on Goodreads.  I had just made the decision to start actively publishing again and was seeking avenues in which to network.  The group was one of the few I encountered that was somewhat active.  You would think that wouldn't be so special; however there are so many organizations out there who have the numbers but no interaction whatsoever.  To find a place that skewed away from that architecture was wonderful to me.

When the All Authors Blog Blitz initiative was first presented, I was slightly hesitant.  Since I primarily wrote poetry and almost everyone else wrote short stories or novels, I wasn't sure who would host me.  Plus quite a few of them had been out for years.  This was my first time out the box in about seven years.  I debated back and forth but on the same token respected what Y. Correa was trying to accomplish: networking regardless of genre.

Finally I hopped on board and very glad I did.  That decision opened up a world of networking.  There are authors I'm still in contact with today.  You never know who you may have in your circle that can help you in other areas of the creative process.  Y. Correa and Harmony Kent have served as excellent mentors and I'm still learning even more.  I'm very grateful.

I also developed friendships.  Without the All Authors Blog Blitz, there are some people I would not have intermingled with any other way.

I received support and encouragement to keep me steadfast in my writing endeavors.  Almost a year later, I have achieved so much:

Featured columnist (promoted to Editor-in-Chief) of All Authors Magazine
Four poetry books under my belt:
  • Reflections of Soul
  • The Eclectic Collection
  • Spaded Truths: Themes and Proclamations
  • Private Pain: Amidst These Ashes

One poetry anthology (not counting Soulful Branches): Words of Fire and Ice
A short story anthology on the way (Summer Shorts II by Durham Editing and Ebooks)
Smashwords Best Selling Author Status (Words of Fire and Ice)

Amazon Best Selling Author Status (Private Pain: Amidst These Ashes)
Recently appointed editor at ReadWave

Just imagine what would have happened if I didn't take the chance and say "Yes" to being part of the All Authors Blog Blitz.

You never know what could be in store for you!

I encourage those who were a part of it last year to join again.

For those of you who haven't, you really should.  Whether you're a writer, cover designer, editor, proofreader, etc., this is a great opportunity to know so many people.  You never know who will discover you or where your endeavors will go.

I'll see you there!

All the best,
Queen of Spades
