So, I am really excited about a few reviews that I received of both "In Love With Death" and "La Encantadora (The Enchantress)"... Following are both the reviews and the original links:
Summary
In Love With Death follows the lives of Sophia, a human and Azriel, the Angel of Death. Sophie first meets Azriel after the death of her grandmother. Not knowing who he really is, Sophie begins dating Azriel. While things seem ok, Sophia decides she knows nothing about this man, and decides to do some research. She finds nothing at all on Azriel, however she finds information about the Angel of Death. She realizes who Azriel really is. She soon also finds out she has a guardian angel, and the boy she's been babysitting, Junior is also an angel. On Azriel's side of the story, he seems to have been battling Gabriel. Gabriel wanting Azriel's job from the beginning, is jealous and not understanding why he wasn't chosen. Gabriel finds out about Sophia, eventually leading Azriel to kill him. All that has happen was set in motion by the Higher Sources. But why exactly? What does this mean for both Sophia and Azriel?
My thoughts
We seem to associate Death with sadness and pain. Here, we are given the chance to see Death can feel and act just as humans do. I like how the story has been put together. Azriel is probably the best "Death" character I've read about or seen on tv. Sophia is another character I've grown to like. She's real. This is another couple I've found myself pulling for. Both have been through alot. And again, another book where I was anxious to see what was going to happen. In Love With Death is the perfect title for this book. It has it's funny parts, it's sad parts and it's "hold your breath" parts. I enjoyed reading this story, and I think you should check it out.

Summary
La Encantdora tells the story of what happens when a half demon and a half angel fall in love. Zita is an Encantdora, or enchantress. Her father is an Encantadore, or a demon who is dolphin by day, enchanter by night. These creatures are some what like male sirens. They use their song to entrap women. Zita, being half demon, is the first and only hybrid. She shouldn't exist, or so her grandfather (who is also a demon) believes. He murders her parents, and begins the search for her. Zita, now orphaned must try to survive in the human world. She meets Roman, who is half angel, and eventually, these two fall in love. But with her half demon, and him half angel, can it work out? Not to mention her grandfather, who will stop at nothing to destroy Zita. Zita finds out what it means to not let what you are define who you are.
My thoughts
La Encantdora is a very well written story. Zita's side of the story is full of pain and sorrow, and I felt sorry for her. She's all alone in a world where she doesn't belong, really. And Roman's side is light, and funny. Even during the war, and after finding out who he is, he still brings humor to the story. I love how he's always picking on Uriel. Both characters are perfect balances to each other. La Encantdora also brings back Sophia and Azriel, from In Love With Death , which I was happy to see. Zita, throughout the story has grown, I think, so much. She goes from someone who cannot trust anyone, to someone who finds herself fighting for her friends. I love that about her. And Roman, he fights for Zita without question. I really liked reading La Encantdora, and I think you will too.
